I have a G4 Mac mini that won't startup. I used to run front row on it with a software utility that got around the need for in built IR. Itunes updated to the latest version and now the mini wont startup... It displays "Starting OSX Screen", the progress bar travels a 1/10th the way along then I get a blue screen with intermittent flashing of the spinning wheel.
Tried booting to safe mode but I am not sure if this works or not. Hold shift key down when I hear the chime, it seems that the OSX progress bar moves further along but basically get teh same result.
I have booted to the startup disk and it verifies hard disk etc. What can I do now??
