Hello everyone,

I m very new to Mac and have a serious problem. I have a MacBook 2.13GHz/2x1GB/160GB/SD using Mac OS X. The problem is that whenever I try to start it the screen gets blue with a spinning wheel in the middle but freezes there. I already pressed CMD-V in order to see what the problem is and it says "Importer start failed for 89"..."invalid destination port".

I would greatly appreciate any form of help as I am very desperate to get my Mac working again.

Thank you a lot in advance.

Hi, Put your Mac OS X disk into your player hold down the "C" KEY and start your computer, then go to Disk Utility ( top right) open disk utility highlight your hard disk select First Aid, Repair Disk, then Repair Permissions, then quit your start up disk and restart, with luck that should do it.
