(new user:))
hey!
for personal reasons i need to set my mouse buttons to a key!
(i don't mean the 3rd button expose, show desktop etc buttons)

i mean Left and Right button
as on windows, when you can change the numbers on the right of the keyboard to a curser moving monster, i would like to do some thing similar on a mac

be it making a script, downloading a app, i just cant figure it out!
im stumped! nothing i can think of can help.
i knew how to do it on a PPC but they disabled that on either intel or leopard
(making a script to click at X,Y)

Please if you can help! Do so! ive googled every thing under the sun! theres nothing

Open the system preferences, then Universal Access, click the "Mouse" tab, there you can turn "Mouse Keys" on. You steer the pointer with the numerical keypad (2, 4, 6 & 8 are: down, left, right & up, respectively. 7, 9, 1, 3 work as left-up, right-up and so on), 5 is click, and 0 is click-and-hold (press again to release). For right-click you have to do like macs-of-old, ctrl/control-click.

It's slow, but it works.

Heh, I remember this from my System 7 days (yeah, back in '95 or so), when mom thought I sat at the computer too much so she hid the mouse :p
