It's situations like this where having the Instal Disc is important. You really need to locate the disc or buy one from eBay or similar site.

Try the methods listed at the following link:

Resolving “Volume needs repair” Error in Mac OS X

It's good to try to back up your important files now too ... you didn't provide your OS version or Mac model ... If your Mac meets the FireWire Target Disc Mode specifications and you have access to another Mac (that also meets the requirements) then you can use that to access your data for an emergency backup.

Re: help !!! don t have cd of installation can i do smtg with that warning message !!

Were you able to try the advice from my first link? That advice is from Apple's website so I would go with it firstly. This is the best way to try to troubleshoot your "Volume Needs Repair" problem.

Time for the good news, you have done well partitioning your HD ... this means that if your System goes down, and it appears that this is what's happening to your G5, the fact that all your important photos/documents etc are safe and sound. They will stay on the partition and can be restored by either taking your G5 to an Apple Store, or by following the Target Disc Mode option.

It's early here so I'm about to head out for the morning ... I suggest you don't touch your G5 other than trying the steps in Link # 1 and Link # 2. If you don't feel comfortable with that you will need to just hang in until either myself or someone else arrives here ....

Just remember that your 14000 pictures are untouched on the 100 gb partition :)

As I said earlier, as long as your iPhoto Library was stored on the 100Gb partition, they will be untouched ... you can use either another Mac that meets the FireWire Target Disc Mode requirements (see my link in Post # 2) or you can take it to your nearest Apple Store or Reseller and pay for them to recover your photos and other files living on the 100Gb partition.
