hd removal

Hi all,
the nice man at Apple told me how to install my wifes 10.5 on my laptop. To do this, I need to swith hd's. I've removed the metal cover in the battery compartment but am unsurte of how to remove the actual hd.

Any hints?

hey i did the same i didnt remove any thing what i didnt have to, i just used a usb HDD wire
(about $10) allows you to connect your hdd as if it were an external hdd

this saved me from removing the other harddrive as well

so what you then do is select the HD connected via usb when leopard ask which HD to install onto, works a charm and very time saving hope this helps
