HD Icon

Greets,

I like to keep my hard drive icon in the upper right corner of the screen. I been doing this for so long that I can'ty possibly change.

HOWEVER, something happened and now whenever I start MacBook Pro (10.4.6), i find that the HD icon has relocated itself to the lower right corner. (This is as bad as my best old ex-girlfriend folding the bath towels in half instead of in thirds -- as they SHOULD be folded)! : )

So-o-o-o...it there a way for me to gently coax my D icon to stay in its rightful place? Or is therapy the only answer?

Hi there,

try control clicking on the Desktop and then go to "Show View Options", what options are currently selected ?

Hey Ric,

I looked at "Show View Options" -- nothing checked. Checked "Snap to Grid" -- this seems to keep the HD icon in its 'rightful' place.

you shouldn't really need to use the snap to...

but if it's working !
