Get Mail on only one Desktop

I have several desktops set up and like to switch between them for each application I am using. Some how I have set MAIL to be open in every desktop so when I switch to a desktop to use another application MAIL is also open on that desktop. How do I get MAIL to open on only one desktop and stay out of my other desktops?
