"FileVault-ed" Home folder issue

If I have FileVault set up on an account, and I remove my Home from the Places section of the Finder, I can't seem to re-add Home. I have to decrypt all my stuff and then re-add it, which takes a loooooooooong time. Is there a work around for this?
