I have a LaCie 250GB FW800/400 external drive that has recently taken a s**t.

I think it was disconnected/unmounted improperly. I use the drive to record audio for Protools. It's all .wav files with the protools session files. Unforunately I haven't backed up in a couple weeks, so getting the drive to work is extremely important, as this is my work.

I first tried Apples Disc Utility.

Verifying volume “disk1s10”
Checking HFS Plus volume.
Invalid B-tree node size
The volume needs to be repaired.

Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit

1 HFS volume checked
Volume needs repair

I then purchased Discwarrior 4. Which said

cannont be rebuilt, the orginal directory is too severly damaged

error codes 3004,2176

The Albot support site is down so no help there, and some emails to them asking of the error codes hasn't helped much either.

Anyone have some suggestions for software or I would even be interested in sending the drive to get the information professionally recovered.

Thanks,
Adam
