Entourage problems

I was able to receive and send email through Entourage until yesterday, and since then I have been receiving this error message:

"Authentication failed because Entourage doesn't support any of the available authentication methods."

I am not a computer guy, and am brand new to Mac, having been a PC guy since they started and before that Radioshack model 100 and model 1. That tells you how old I am. So what is the answer to this problem, guys. Must I call MS to get an answer to this?

Hi, I'm having the same problem and was going to post the question. I found by going to - Account Settings[/U][/U] - Edit Accounts - then to SMTP Server - Click on Advance Sending Options - check box Override SMPT port 25.. This will work temporary (not a permanent fix.) I guess i'll keep looking around. Art B.
