dyld_shared_cache problem

Discussion in 'Misc' started by Robert Peirce, Oct 4, 2011.

  1. This keeps cropping up on my system. I have reinstalled the OS and that
helps for a while but eventually it crops up again.

This morning I was running a compiled program I have used for a long
time and it happened again. I am wondering if anybody knows if programs
need to be recompiled when the OS is updated. This program, and many
other C programs I use, have never been recompiled as long as I have
    been running OS X.

I rebuilt the cache and ran the program again and had no problem.
However, everything had been working fine since the last time I
reinstalled the OS on 10/01 until I ran this program.
