Doom 3 console

Okay, so i'm new to Apple as in I worked with them for years for work but only recently got one for home use. I just bought Doom 3 a week or two ago and am now stuck at the cyber demon in the last level. Wonderfull game, but sometimes you just need a cheat .

However, I can't get the console up. All the walktroughs tell me to either hit the '~' or hit the apple + command + ~ keys. I'm fairly sure I tried either but no console comes up. Help?

I, too, had trouble with this as everything I read was command-option-tilde.

It's actually CONTROL-option-tilde. (And then tilde, solo, to close it.)

At least, that's what worked on my Powerbook!

The control is set to function as the fire key in the default set up, so i'm going to try the consule after setting the control key free from its current function. Thanks for input!
