Hi,

I have a macbook pro.

I went into a place with free internet the other day and couldn't connect. Every one of my friends can connect. They have laptops (G4 and PC's).

I click on the network name and then it comes up:

"The selected network uses an Access Control List to restrict access and this computer is not on the list. See administrator for access."

Why wouldn't I be on the list we had never visited this place till now. Thanks if anyone can help. It is annoying as the guy that owns the place assures me there is something wrong with my computer. Can I change my computers ID or something? How do I connect to this weird wireless internet that everyone else has no trouble doing.
