1. Browser tool -- Safari. Safari itself contains the function to download online videos. Go to ‘Window’ on the main menu and choose ‘Activity’, a new pop-menu will opened with all the resource on the website. You need to be able to identify which is the link to download the right video and it do not always work. Below is the guide:

2. Download software -- iSkysoft free Youtube downloader for mac. It can detect online video and download automatically. It’s supports YouTube, Yahoo, Google, Break, Metacafe, MySpace, Gofish and other video sharing sites. It contains a player to play the video. The upgrade version can convert the downloaded video, but it charge.

3. The third party plug-in -- Videodownloader. This is a plug-in for Firefox. It enables you capture streaming video from website. it is also a hard work to find out the right video you want to download. After I upgrade my Firefox to 3.0, it crashed every time, so I drop it.

4. Online tool -- Zamzar.co.uk. This site can help you download and convert online videos and send the converted video to you by Email. But you need to wait endlessly until the video be sent to you and the video size is limited. More, the video stored only 24 hours from the time you receive the email. It is too passive.
