Comments on Mac-friendly HDTVs and Blu-ray players?

I'm getting ready to replace our old living room NTSC TV & DVD player
with a nice new HDTV and Blu-ray player. I have been dabbling,
having an Elgato EyeTV with a 2008 Hybrid USB receiver and also a
WD TV Live media player. Yazsoft's Playback software make them
    work together pretty nicely.

Seems like "Internet" connectivity is becoming pretty standard, so
although I've got most of the LAN streaming/playback capabilities
I desire with the WD TV LIVE box, I'm still interested in the
network functions that HDTVs and Blu-ray players might offer with
respect Mac connectivity. I'd be interested in comments on
the various manufacturers network (DLNA) implementations.

    Thanks!

I have a Sony Bravia LCD which works well with my imac mini and EyeTV via the HDMI connector.
It has a 100BaseT connector too, but the software only to share still pictures or music, not video :-(
