best way to transfer itunes library from one mac to another

  1. As subject heading. I've been doing it by simply transfering the itunes
music folder- however that loses all the playlist info. Any other way
    around that? TIA.

The library is made up of two files, Itunes Library.itl and .xml. If
you place both these documents in your Music folder, and all your songs
are stored therein, then you should have all your information
transferred. ratings, playlists, and last played.
