I apparently installed the wrong graphics card to a PPC G4 QS and
plugged in this display to it. When I powered up the display still
had power and even the USB ports worked. However, there is now a
black screen. The computer still works and I now have the proper
graphics card but still only black screen.
Can this problem be fixed? How much will THAT cost?

Thanks in advance for your help,
    Rita

The resolution is probably set to something that your display can't, er,
    display.

Have you tried booting from the system software CD?

Are you able to telnet in to your G4 from another Mac? There's a cli app
that will let you change screen resolutions. I've had to use it
    occasionally.
