I upgraded from Tiger to Leopard.
It installed Ok.
Dock is accessable but…
The drive icons or any file icons
come on briefly, disappear for the beach ball
about every 3 seconds cycling back and forth
I installed 10.5 on two other macs and they
work fine
I tried another HD in the tower and it did the exact same thing
I swapped out another drive that already had 10.5 back
into the machine and it did the same thing. The previous
owner installed it on that HD which I pulled out as I
was not ready for 10.5 at the time.
I tried software update but the cycling keeps any
Internet connection from stability
Suggestions?
