ok ok so i have mac os x 10.2.8
and i just got a new ipod classic
and when i try to connect the ipod to the computer
it doesnt recongize it ):
what software do i have to get to get my ipod to
work on my computer with itunes and everything?

I would presume you need the latest iTunes software, but then again you should go read the accompanying manual and see if it has a certain conditions that need to be met! As in which software and version!
