    iMovie For Sierra?

I was running Mountain Lion previously. Not sure of the version I had before.

    iMovie For Sierra?

Tried that - this is just an update - needs a previous version before this will work.

    iMovie For Sierra?

Says my OS (10.12.6) is too old to download from the store.

    iMovie For Sierra?

Since updating to Sierra, I no longer have a version of iMovie. Is there a version that will work with this OS?

    External Sound Not Working

iMac. Yosemite. Tried various dedicated cables and also an HDMI-to-display port adapter. Samsung TV. Playing videos. This did work once, but not anymore, it seems.

    External Sound Not Working

Odd problem - when connected to my TV, my iMac will output a video signal, but not an audio one. When I check under system preferences > sound - there is nothing detected, but under 'displays', there is. Could this be a problem with the HDMI cable I'm using, or a computer issue?

    Turn Off File Extensions?

I made some changes to Finder to see file name extensions, but now that I no longer wish to view them, they don't seem to be turning off. I notice on all my TextEdit files, they are now appended with a .rtf extension. Is there a way to turn this off again?

Image Previews In Sierra Very Slow

Yes - using no compression opens the file faster than using LZW, but still not acceptable to me. (Funny - checking Macintosh for Byte Order slows the operation down ever further.)

    External Display No Longer Working

Not the cable or TV, as it works on my other mac - port might be faulty.

    External Display No Longer Working

Here is the post I was referring to: >to get a Mac display to become active, you need the Mac to query the display, and the display to answer with its name and capabilities. Otherwise, no data will be sent to the display. This query is only sent at certain times: • at startup • at wake from...
