VPN or similar software

I am looking at options on VPN and various pieces of software. I was attracted to the simplicity of http://www.iprivacytools.com/ord_changeipaddress.php but don't know if this is opening me up for any malware. Can anyone give advice ?

Is there a specific reason that you need a VPN or to hide your IP address? I am not familiar with that company/website, so I can't really comment. But, that website doesn't contain any information about the company or their actual location, or anything other than the signup/payment section. Personally, I wouldn't give them my financial information for their services.

What other software are you looking for information about?

I travel a lot and have various film and tv subscriptions. Having the ability to decide where my IP address shows is useful.

I am not familiar with any VPN software packages like that. However, another Google search would probably give you more examples to try and reviews of them.
