Very slow macbook pro

Hey All,
My macbook pro is very very unbearably slow. It also heats up a lot!! If someone can help me solve the problem please let me know. thanks

Hello and welcome.

The CleanMyMac app is probably the issue that is causing the slowness. I recommend uninstalling it. That should solve the issue.

How To Uninstall CleanMyMac 2?

Also, f.lux may also slow the Mac down a bit. Uninstall it as well, if the above does't help.
