I'm short on time right now but I'll post more later.
My MacBook starts up with over 2.3/4.0 gb of RAM already used... eventually goes to 3.99/4/0. performance issues ensue...
This is a 2008 aluminum model MacBook only (not a Pro).
I added the 4gb of ram a few years ago.
I have recently been having problems with com.apple.IconServicesAgent. but the problem is usually resolved by a combination of force quitting and restarting. (I believe this is a side issue)
I will post screen shots of Activity Monitor when I can get them in the right format for this forum.. there are so many processes on start up that it took 5 screenshots to get it all...
