I'm not sure that I am logged in as Admin(?). Probably not, not sure how, and the only way I can get to my start up disk is through sys. Pref. When I click on the Start Up Disk Icon, It will only let me select which program to use for startup. Am very new to mac, a Windoze convert, and bad one at that...

Hi there and welcome !

Is there any other accounts on the computer or just yours ?

If there is only yours then you will 'admin'...

Is the Mac booting okay ? Can you see the Finder ? Hard Disk Icon ? If so can you not just drag items to the trash ? What does it say ?

regards

Ric
