My name is rollnrock - or Rocky if you like. I've been a systems engineer on large scale storage systems and large scale Microsoft networks for twenty years. Except for iPhones and iPads im a total Mac newb.
So glad I found this forum as some of my work seems to be moving to the Mac world - starting with an old Power Mac G4 I inherited and want to upgrade for a child of a needy family.
That said, it looks like some of my side work is also moving to supporting Mac solutions for a very large organization currently running both Microsoft and Linux, in addition to HP, IBM and EMC storage systems.
I'm very much looking forward to getting to know some folks here. Maybe, down the road, when I've got my Mac feet under me I'll be able to pay it forward. At least, that's my vision.
