Setting the wallpaper on iPhone 6+

Is there some trick to being able to resize the wallpaper photo and have it stay? All of my photos get resized and the photo cuts off what I want? Thank you! :eek:

-Which version of iOS - 8.4.1?
-How large are the photos that you are trying to use?
-Does it happen with the built-in images?

That is the right version. the size of one of them is 906kb. I'm not sure what built-in images are? Thank you Cory
