Scan document to so i can use OCR for editing

Hi

I want to scan a document into my iMac running Yosemite so that i can have it use OCR so i can edit the document.

Is their any software in Yosemite that would do this or do i have to buy software in order to convert and if i do which do you recommend i only need to do about 10 documents so don't want to pay a huge amount so would like a free version if possible.

I'm understanding that you are asking about OCR software?

I'm not familiar with OCR but is this what you are after? Free really means max of 15 imager per hour unless you go premium
