Removing Options From Right Clicking

When I right click and choose "Open With", I have various choices. For example if I right click a jpg I can choose to open it in Photoshop. But I have two versions of Photoshop on my computer and sometimes I accidentally click the older version of Photoshop. Is there a way to remove options from the right click dialog box? Same with an audio file. I have two versions of Wave Pad on my HD. I would like to remove the older Wave Pad option from the right click choices.

No, the "Open With" menu is designed to give you all of the Apps that "may" open the file.

The only way to remove an App in that list you can delete it.
