I just upgraded to Mavericks, and now I can't open Quark Xpress. I have the latest version, and now I can't access it at all. Anybody else have this problem and have helpful suggestions?

-Are you running 10.1.0.1?
-Are you getting any errors, or will it just not launch?

I'm running the latest version of Quark. I can't open it to find out the exact version number. It will not launch. It has a circle with a slash over the icon. Mavericks did it in.

Sounds like a version prior to 10. The prohibitive sign on an app means it is not Mavericks-compatible.

To find out what version you have, Option-click or right-click on the QuarkXPress icon and select Get Info. It will show you the version in the General section towards the top of the window.
