I've been experiencing problems with my router.. went to Apple and bought a new one which I haven't installed.. the old one started to work well again.. for two days. I thought I had a problem a few minutes ago when the computer quit responding.. as it had with the router issue.

Shut off the router and rebooted it. Same problem.
Decided to shut down the computer.. I can't even Force Quit. I have the pinwheel running.

Working on my MacBookPro now.

I have the latest OSX and latest Safari running on my iMac.

I could simply power down since Force Quit doesn't work.. but, before I do.......

H E L P ????

Thanks, Bill

If something in your Mac's network stack has crashed there's not a lot else to do.

Thanks for the reply.

How do I know if it's a stack crash? Is there a way for a computer dummy to tell?
