I am running OS X 10.10.1. How do I associate a particular application (Photoshop) with a particular extension (SR2)? That is, I always want file.sr2 to open in Photoshop.
Select the .sr2 file & Ctrl-click it to select "Get Info". Look down to the "Open With" section where you will notice a pull-down menu. It's here you can select which app to become the parent so to speak of all files with the sr2 extension.
