New to Mac

I just for a rMBP and noticed the the folder that I set up at startup with my name (morgans******) with the home icon next to it can only be found if i search for it in the spotlight (I'm trying to transfer my iTunes and had the most trouble finding it!) Can anyone tell me if I can get the folder to show up automatically in the finder?

The easiest way to show your home folder in Finder is to use the keyboard shortcut Shift Command H

You can also drag your Home Folder icon onto a Finder window's Sidebar if it isn't already showing there.
