I am unable to use the command Show Desktop anymore. When I have many windows open, I usually use a shortcut in QuickSilver (Alt + F6). That does not work any more, or more correct it opens a window where I can see all my desktop files BUT I want to see my desktop the same way as if I close all windows. It does not work in Mission Control either. I can make Hot Corners for Screensaver and everything else, but the Show Desktop just does nothing. As a last solution I found the keys Alt + Cmd + H + M which actually DOES show me my desktop, BUT I cannot find a key combination for opening all closed windows again, like it was before I hit Alt + Cmd + H + M. The route for tabbing back all my maybe 5 or 6 windows is not an option for me. I just want my Alt + F6 back, which has just done what it should, and that´s showing me my desktop with whats on it, and switching back to all my previous windows open. You can see my screenshot, it shows what I am seeing, but that´s not what I want...
The short version of all this words is that I want the same as Windows user have when they push the Win + D combination....
Please HELP

Keyboard Shortcuts are set in the System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts. Knock yourself out.

QuickSilver
is not a standard App you will need to go to their forum for help on that App.

FWIW the default keyboard shortcut for Mac OS X to show Desktop is Shift Command D

The Show Desktop does not work, with or without Quicksilver (and yes I posted on their web site too). Shift Command D or turning the shortcuts on or off in System Prefs doesn't do anything too.
