Please can someone advise me on what to do I'm trying to fix my brothers Mac, he needs it for his work.... I don't know where to start. I've managed to get it to the point in the picture but I have no idea why I cannot find a disk to install and how or what to do to fix this...

First of all, what specific Mac model does he have?

Second, when you say "fix", was the machine working before? If it was, what OS was he using, and what happened to make it need to be fixed?

Third, what OS are you trying to install for him, and where is the OS "file"?

Hello and welcome.

As you stated, the problem in the photo is that the installer cannot find any hard drives to install OS X on.

-As honestone asked, what model Mac?
-Is that Mac OS X Leopard 10.5 you are trying to install?
-Was the Mac recently service/repaired? HD replaced?
