how to resume lost download

does any one no why you can't resume a lost connection download on a mac book pro i hget 2/3rd s into a down load and if connection lost i have to start again ???

Hi,

Are you talking about App Store or general downloading, also which browser are you using.

It depends on the server and the software you are using to make the download. Please give us more information.
