help with mac please

When looking at the mac there is a button with 3 squares, the top key 4 to right of esc. When i press that i have about 10 powerpoint slides up and I don't know how to delete them.. please help me

You cannot delete them, they are your open applications.
To get rid of them you simply need to quit the apps that are open by using the command: Command+q or Command+Option+Esc

To expand on Mac-Helper's comments, that button represents Mission Control, which when activated, shows your open Applications and windows.
