Help me turn automator into photo editing time saver :)

Hi, I just discovered this little tool that I believe could potentially save a lot of my time once I've learned how to give him orders.

In this task, files are clothing images saved in one folder. Each piece of clothes has a front and back photo with matched file names (e.g. front: brandname.jpg, back: brandname2.jpg). I want automator to combine each item's front and back photo, save the new photo in gif, and delete the original photos.

Will someone please tell me if this is something automator can do? And how can I get him set up?

Hello and welcome.

I believe this can be done with Automator/AppleScript. However, I am not very well experienced with them. The folks over at MacScripter may be able to help you out.
