Help! Frustrating using Chrome

Hi everyone, I am new this board because I am fed up with my internet problem. I am using google chrome and every time I click on something it wants to open up a new window of advertisements. How do I stop this? I was using safari but that was slower and more pop ups came up so I downloaded Chrome, which is faster but I am still getting windows opening up.

Check Chrome<<Tools<<Extension if any addons is installed which is running ads on every click.

Hi,

Go to safariadblock.com and download it, once downloaded double click the installer and it will instal, this is for Safari not sure about chrome as I never used chrome. But suspect the process would be similar just you would get the chrome installer and do the download via chrome.

To install Ad Block on Chrome, goto Settings<<Tools<<Extensions<<Get More Extension<<Search for 'Ad Blocks'

Some good extensions will show up. Click on '+' button to add.
