duplex printing

G'day, Im fairly new to Mac. I am using the same printer as I did with my previous PC. How do I duplex print my document using my Mac.?

In the print dialog box, choose the Layout pull-down option. If your printer and its driver supports duplex, that's where it'll be.

some years later, I am new to Mac and have just bought a Canon_MG6600 printer which can print duplex. i cannot see how to change print options in Word or Adobe to get duplex printing going. But, I can indicate duplex printing if I print a Safari page. I know I am doing something wrong, but how do I get duplex running?
