Downloading Windows Starter Pack

Hi can anyone help, is there a way of downloading windows starter pack for free? I only need it for basic word and excel work. Thank you.

Hello,

What do you mean by "windows starter pack"? Do you mean Microsoft Office for Mac?

There isn't any legal way to obtain Microsoft Office apps for free. There are free Office "clones" available, as well as the free Google Apps suite if you have a Google Account. Also, depending on when you bought your Mac, you may have access to free copies of the iWork suite apps Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, which are Apple's versions of Microsoft Office.
