Convert iTunes 12 Smart Playlist to Regular Playlist

How do I make a regular playlist out of a smart playlist in iTunes 12?
Until today, I was able to make a regular playlist, then drag the name of the smart playlist down to that regular playlist and add the smart playlist tunes to it. I could drag the name of the smart playlist down to the bottom of the regular playlist list and that list would scroll so I could add smart playlist tunes to any regular playlist farther down the list. Now my drag stops at the bottom of the list; no scrolling. And the dragged list will not drop.

Hello and welcome.

I am not sure why your process doesn't work any longer, as it works in my iTunes 12.1.2.27?

Maybe try quitting iTunes, restart your computer, then try again?

Try creating the new playlist, click on the smart playlist, select all the songs in the smart playlist, click and drag them to the new playlist. That should work until your old process works again.
