Powermac G4 Beeps/Question Mark on Startup

My Powermac G4 won't start up. On startup it beeps anywhere from 5 - 10 times, then goes to a grey screen with a folder on it. The icon on the folder alternates between the Finder icon and a question mark.

I've already tried the PMU reset button and resetting the PRAM. I've tried holding down X on startup - it still goes to the grey screen. Any other suggestions?

The last time I used this computer was last weekend. It worked completely fine at that time - nothing out of the ordinary.

Have you tried running the Apple hardware test?
