I've picked up a blue and white G3 that I'd like to run a Creo IQsmart scanner on. I'm having a few problems though. The software wasn't written for OS X so my G5 Tower is no good.

First, I get get the flashing question mark on startup. Holding down the option on reboot doesn't show any other discs.

Second, I thought I'd completely reinstall OS 9. I boot of the disc. I start the install program but I can't select any drive to install on. The box is greyed out.

I know I'm talking old technology but any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

PS I hope I have posted this in the correct place. Just point me in the right direction If I haven't.
