Cannot unstall office

Hi
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere have tried google searches etc but haven't found a solution. Have had a mac now for 2 weeks, it came with office installed. I tried to uninstall by moving application to trash. Now I have items in the trash that won't empty. The first message I get when emptying is 'StdUrlMonkier' in use.
Any help would be much appreciated

Aha, found plists in preferences; all sorted!

Daisy get hold of a little apps called (AppZapper) it will remove any program with all it hidden files to the waste basket.
