Mac newbie here. Bought a Macbook w/ Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.82 in 01/2010

Downloaded CleanMyMac 'Try Out' and it keeps saying I am asking it to clean too much space and limits me, then it asks me to buy it. No way! I want to remove it but don't know how. It didn't come with an "uninstall". I don't trust it anymore than a Microsoft program. Can anyone help me?

Get a hold of AppCleaner or Appzapper and just drop the prog onto the square they will remove it and the hidden files for you.

To log out go the the apple in the corner, at the bottom of the menu is "log out" (don't for get your password if you log out !).

The answer is very simple. Open clean my mac, click applications tab drag cleanmymac application into it. Job done! No need for any other downloads!
