New to Mac, question about a G4

Hi, So I finally am trying to get away from my Windows machines and have acquired a Mac G4 desktop and I am curious what is the latest Operating System I can install? It is a G4 Dual 1GHz w/1.5gb sdram and currently running Mac OS-X v. 10.4.... Oh and the LAN is not working.... How to troubleshoot?

Hello, the latest operating system that you could run on the G4 is Leopard. Our current operating system (Snow Leopard) only runs on Intel Macs.
