The Heavy Iron Studios team began its collaboration with Pixar minutes after they finished watching the moving storyboards for “UP” in 2007. Producer Brian Wiklem explains how they captured the essence of Pixar’s latest adventure, which takes elderly widower Carl Fredericksen and eight-year-old Wilderness Explorer Russell to the tepuis of South America in a house carried aloft by thousands of balloons. “We tried to capture the essence of UP’s most exciting film moments and offer an experience that happens between those big moments in the film,” Wiklem says.
