Bookmarking questions

Hello ... Can anyone tell me how to sort the bookmark list? It is sorted when actually bookmarking but when viewing and looking for anything already bookmarked it's a huge unsorted mess.

Also, I can't figure out how to remove anything from the Bookmarks toolbar. That does not even show in Organize Bookmarks.

Hi. I'm assuming you're referring to Safari bookmarks. I just hand sort my Safari bookmarks by dragging and dropping but there are third-party tools you can use if you want everything alphabetical - just do a search you should see some add-ons turn up. I use several Firefox add-ons but not any Safari ones, so I can't recommend anything.

To answer your other question - to remove a bookmark or folder from your Bookmarks Bar - just hold down Command and drag it off for a little poof effect.

I use Bookdog, which will sort bookmarks into alphabetical order, eliminate duplicates etc.
