getting new mac in a couple of days how easy is it to move all my stuff from old to new mac complete novice here :

In theory it's easy. Just connect the 2 macs by firewire and Migration Assistant will do the rest. In practice this didn't work for me and I had to copy stuff over in stages using a zip disc. Hope you have better luck with MA than I did!
