my ipod is too smart for me

Here is the problem-
I cant delete the lyrics from my ipod. Does anyone have suggestions on how to delete all song lyrics from my ipod via itunes, without having to manually delte them from the "get info" area one song at a time? Thanks-e

I'm not an iPod user...Wifey has one but has no lyrics on it, let us know how you get on with Teapots suggestion, maybe I'll have to get one for myself !
